Fees
Normally we charge flat fees for estate planning matters like living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and health care powers of attorney. For auto accidents, wrongful death, and personal injury cases, the initial consultation is free and usually these cases are handled on a contingent fee basis so that we get paid when the client gets paid. Probate and Guardianship cases have court approved fees. For more sophisticated work, such as Medicaid/nursing home planning, divorce/dissolution/family law, real estate, and business matters, these are handled on an hourly basis with a retainer payable up front.
Initial consultations usually take up to one hour. For appropriate cases we can make house calls or come to the nursing home or hospital.
The rates for initial consultations (60 minutes maximum) in 2010 are as follows: George H. Lovett or Roselyn G. Lovett, $150; Anthony R. Day, $125.
The normal hourly rates for 2010 are as follows: George H. Lovett or Roselyn G. Lovett, $210; Anthony R. Day, $160.
